Seriously, there was supposed to be a document dump by 5:00 p.m. Where are those documents?

Like a fish that keeps growing in size with every retelling, the size of this DOJ document dump keeps growing and growing and growing. The latest we're hearing is that it's going to be 2000 pages -- hard copy. To be released momentarily. Supposedly.

It's going to be a long search if they want to find someone as corrupt and biased as Gonzalez. He never stopped being "the President's lawyer", even when his job description required that he be advocate of the people. He's still trying to protect Bush from being Bush.

Thanks. I did actually see Part 1 (that you have linked above) late last night. Funny how the WH/DoJ claimed that the docs would be available "by the close of business." They have as good a grasp on punctuality as I do.

Part 1 was all about immigration in Lam's district, which indicates to me that this was about getting out enough information for the right-wing talk shows this morning to poo-poo the matter. The heavier stuff was released very late so that no real analysis could be done by the evening news shows tonight.
