The reason the Democratic party is losing every important election of late is that as a whole they're fucking cowards. For the most part they're just afraid to take a stand for fear they might offend a portion of their constituents, and by not taking a stand they look like losers to ALL their constituents. Right or wrong, Bush is a master at taking stands. He's usually wrong, but even though he's leading the country in the wrong direction at least he's leading. I wish the Dems could drum up an actual leader or two to both stand up to Bush and to maybe have a hope of taking the White House in '08. What are we paying these guys for if they won't actually DO anything? "Live to fight another day" seems to be the party's motto of late as they cave time and again. More like "live to run away again another day."
