I think there are two or three kinds of insecurity - insecurity about self and identity, insecurity about the future, and insecurity about what's happening now. I'm not sure any one of those does or does not arise from trust issues
Yeah, I had the same sort of issue with this question. It can't be broken down into "Agree" or "Disagree" categories without being a lot more specific.
I believe that , most emotions are a reaction to how situations compare to our expectations (wow, try saying that 5 times fast). If you do not trust the situation to match up to your expectations, then it could make sense that a reaction could be insecurity. Although I prefer to look at it the other way, that the more secure I feel, the more likely i am to trust.
But how does that relate to trusting a person? rather than trusting a situation?
Same thing? I wil grow to trust you more as I come to know you better and can foresee how you will respond? And hence I will be less insecure about our relationship?
Then why am I fairly secure in our relationship, when I still don't really know you that well?
