novapsycheThe reading went really well! I made mistakes less than a handful of times. (For example, I said "a teal" instead of "a seal [against the tide]"--I was getting ahead of myself.)

dionysus1999, sarahmichigan, simianpower, lameautarch and K. (meecie?) all came out to support me. I appreciate their time, especially simianpower, since I know he doesn't enjoy poetry that much. ;)
Lauren said she'd feature me again next year and would forward my name to some organizers in Detroit. My response? "Cool."
