"'Erasing' drug-associated memories may stop drug addiction relapses" -- this one scares the hell out of me, especially in the absence of detail about what mechanism exactly is being employed. We can't ask the rats what else is happening to their memories, their awareness, or even what sense of self-awareness they may have. I am afraid for which ever poor souls are fated to be the first people on whom this approach is used.
