2 officers killed responding to 911 call

This is a horrible story, no matter how you look at it. But it's interesting to me that the woman who called in 911 call is mentioned once and then not again. Can you imagine what her life must have been like leading up to that call?

Why wasn't the woman interviewed for the story?

Normally, if that's the case, the reporter will include that fact in the article.

I am more willing to blame this on AP's shoddy reporting.
