I was just marvelling at my new pair of pantyhose. I think a couple of years ago I was still resisting the move from size B to size Q. I managed to buy several pairs of size B with control top, only to regret how utterly uncomfortable those are. I actively avoid them unless I have no other hose to wear.

So I bought this new pair yesterday off the clearance rack (I almost never buy pantyhose at full price), and wow are these more comfortable. I was just thanking myself for compromising and finally acknowledging my weight/height ratio. Then, when I was pulling them up from my first visit to the ladies' room, my hangnail created a dime-sized hole.

I've always wondered why it has to be "Q" instead of "C". Are they going with "Queen?" to make us, uhh.. feel better??

When I was 20-30 pounds smaller than I am now, I preferred the ones they made for "tall" people. For some reason, they fit better than queen, I think because I was kind of an in-between size.
