It's Official: A Socialist Is Now on the Seattle City Council -- I was just lamenting to a friend about how socialism stands little chance of catching on here; maybe a hundred years ago it could have, but then came the fall of tsarist Russia & over here the Palmer Raids. This is a pleasant rebuke.
