I know the news broke yesterday, but I haven't posted about it until now: Teena Marie passed away. I'm still in disbelief, because she was so young.
I have only one song of hers at my disposal, "Out on a Limb" as a track from the first Smooth Grooves collection. It was always one of my classic R&B favorites, one of those songs that taught me how to sing. She had an amazing voice.
