There's a feeling in the USA right now that Feminism is passe - we can vote, we get elected, we get jobs, where's the problem? As a result, the job is done; we can go home now.

The thing is, we can't; it's not a done deal, and we're not equal anyway. I asked a couple of friends why there were so few women at their company; it turned out that they will turn up the scrutiny on any girl who wanders into the department to the point that she'll flee. They *say* they want women, but their actions say they want a Girl Free Zone. A-yup.

But the 'It's a Done Deal' is so prevalent in corporate America that anyone speaking out winds up being alone - and cut out of the conversation. The battle really does need to be reinvigorated every decade.
