I called into work yesterday, so I had a pretty low-key day. Didn't do anything or go anywhere (except the corner store, which is in walking distance). No driving for me.

I'm at work today. Feh. At least the sun's out.

I began Mega Park in earnest yesterday. Renamed SunSplash, it has 1.5 million sq. ft. of land. I realized that the biggest challenge will be expanding into the park without getting all of my sims lost. (There's nothing more annoying than rescuing lost customers.)

So what does it mean to be lost? )

It's all about happiness. If you can keep your customers happy, they'll rarely get lost, because they're really not thinking about where they're going.

I've thought about penning my own RCT FAQ. I don't know if I'd have anything to say that hasn't already been said, though. I just have a few hints here and there.

My coworker just now:

"They did three MRIs on me, but they never found anything."

My other coworker cackled as he passed by.

Wow. Is this an op-ed piece? Because it's on the World page.

Three in Race for Whack at Bush

THERE is a long way to go until we know which Democrat will challenge George W. Bush in November.

But after New Hampshire, it can be safely said it will be John Kerry, Howard Dean or John Edwards. Dennis Kucinich and Al Sharpton are just having fun and Joe Lieberman is indulging in self-delusion.

General Wesley Clark has been exposed as a political novice. He campaigned clumsily all week and slid dramatically in the polls.

If he won the nomination, Bush's Republicans would rip him to bits. He lacks the key ingredient all Democrats voters are seeking -- electability.

Just remember: necrophilia and narcolepsy should not be confused with one another.
