I've drawn up some halfway decent submission guidelines for BRoM.

BRoM: a literary harm reduction zine
Submission Guidelines

Non-fiction:

Opinion. What's going on in the world today; current affairs. 500 word maximum.
Little Known Facts. About DXM or other dissociatives. 75 word maximum.
Tips & Tidbits. About drug culture in general. 50 word maximum.
Psychonautica. Trip reports. Substance(s) used, as well as amounts thereof, should be noted, as should the age and sex of the psychonaut. (Height and weight wouldn't hurt, either.) A pseudonym is strongly encouraged; submissions without one will have Anonymous as a by-line. Well-written reports, please. 250 word minimum; 1500 word maximum.
Critic's Corner. Reviews of music, movies, books, magazines, TV shows, or other media that deal with and/or enhance the psychedelic experience. 300 word maximum.
Unto the Unknown. Reports or stories about a first-person paranormal or visionary experience while under the influence of DXM. 50 word minimum; 750 word maximum.
An Ounce of Prevention. Harm reduction tips and techniques primarily regarding DXM, but also other dissociatives and hallucinogens. 500 word maximum.
All in Fun. Comics, satirical or political cartoons, humor, Sillyscapes (nonsense horoscopes, "good" for the whole month [with apologies to Weird Al Yankovic]; one sign at a time, please). 100 word maximum for prose pieces.

All prose submissions should be double-spaced.

Fiction:

Short shorts. All styles and subject matter welcome. 50 word minimum; 500 word maximum.
Unto the Unknown. See Non-Fiction, above.

All prose submissions should be double-spaced.

Poetry:
Any style or subject matter, especially:

Minis. Special section devoted to poems five lines long or fewer.
Session Confessions. Poems about, or written under the influence of, DXM. No first-drafts, please.

All submissions should touch upon some sense of oddity, whether in subject or structure (we would rather not receive any concrete poetry, however). Surreality is appreciated, as are vivid imagery and clear, lucid language. (Keep obscenities to a minimum, please.)

Poetry submissions should be single-spaced.

Submissions received without SASE will not be returned. Payment is 1 copy and 1/2 off additional copies.

Send submissions to:

BRoM
P.O. Box
Ypsilanti, MI 48198

For more information about DXM, visit Erowid (http://www.erowid.org) or the Dextroverse (http://www.dextroverse.com).

I want to stress that BRoM is a literary magazine. If you don't know what that is, query before submitting.

. The only thing I need to do is secure a P.O. box; then I'll be ready to announce the magazine. Oh, and I need to call Kinko's and find out how much a print job would run.

Today's been a good poetry day. Thank God.
