Matrix poem, 8/19/07

Water treated me as a friend. I warned my arms
and legs that we would walk to reams and learn to love it. Earl,
my uncle, would tell me to turn my warts into pearls. Walking is an art. A twig
might eat my shoe. Stones that get in are like mattress peas. This means war

ring over water won't make my legs any better. A wart might eat
my calluses. I treat myself to reams of trail mix. Cashews are pearls. I get
warned that learning the art of eating involves pasta and peas.
My arm bends as though honoring an earl. Appendices are for twigs. Food is war.

Matrix:

water treat warn arm
leg ream learn earl
wart pearl art twig
ate get pea war

The matrix words are from a Boggle set; the subset is that they are the words I missed that game.

Of course, I didn't write down the actual Boggle matrix. That would have been useful, or something.
